there were tears
and i was happy
she approached me right after she got home from school and with panic and tears in her eyes told me that she had forgotten her reference book at school that she needed for her homework
and i was thrilled that
#1 she was responsible enough to realize that she had forgotten it
and
#2 she cared enough to have tears
yay! a student is born!
and obviously...I saved her
